Branding for all the dogs
Bark About It is a local dog food, toy, treat and clothing retailer in Phoenix, Arizona that was looking to formally launch after gaining a lot of traction via word of mouth. What they needed most was a formal logo and brand guidelines document that would allow them to efficiently grow their brand as they scaled up in sales and customers. The owners already had some very specific ideas as to the colors and typefaces they wanted used, but needed help tying everything together and creating a cohesive brand standards document. Something that outlined the exact typefaces, colors and style of photography the company should be using across social and on their website.
We had several meetings with the owners and picked their brains as to what they wanted to see and how they wanted the company best represented. They insisted on fun and playful typography, something a dog might find themselves attracted to, along with bright colors you would find in nature. Their photography is, of course, very dog focused. Happy and healthy dogs, playing with their humans and enjoying life. This aspirational photography helps to sell more product as pull in customers and people are more likely to purchase items for their dog if they see their specific breed represented in the product images.
We were able to successfully create a logo and brand guidelines for Bark About It and allow them to launch their company online and on social with the help of our programmers and website builders. While the entire brand guideline is not shown here, you can get a feeling for the brand look and feel we put together for Bark About It.
